Systèmes d’équations du second degré

a. Définition : on appelle système d’équation du second degré tout système dont l’une des équations au moins est du second degré.

b. Type : on distingue :

b.1. Système où une des équations est du 1erdegré et l’autre du second degré.

Comment peut-on résoudre un système d’équation si l’un est du 1erdegré ?

Règle de résolutions : on tire l’une des inconnues dans l’équation du 1erdegré et on remplace dans l’équation du second degré.

Exemple : résoudre dans IR² le système d’équations suivant :

{y=x2+3x6(1)y2x+8=0(2)

De (2) tirons   y.

(3)         (3) dans (1)

Y= 2x-8

2x-8=-x²+3x-6

X²-3x+6+2x-8= 0

X²-x-2= 0 

∆= (-1)²-4(1)(-2)

   =9

\sqrt[]{∆} = ± \sqrt[]{9}

=±3

Si x= 2                         si x= -1

   Y= 2.2-8                       y= 2(-1)-8

   Y= -4                               = -10

S= {(2,-4), (-1,-10)}

Règle de résolution : on élimine une des inconnues en utilisant la méthode d’addition.

Exemple : Résoudre dans IR² le système d’équations suivants :

        -2x²+15y²= -460           10x²+6y²= 184

         6x²+15y² = 156         -10x²-25y²= -260

                -19x²= -304                   -9y²=  -76

                     X²=                          y²=

                     X= ±                      y²= 4

                     X= ±4                           y= ±

                                                          Y= ±2
