Les instruments utilisés dans la pêche sont les harpons, les écopages, les pirogues, les nasses, les filets et les hameçons.
A qui était réservée la cueillette?		La cueillette Elle est pratiquée par tous les peuples d'Afrique notamment les Pygmées et les Bantous. Cette activité était réservée surtout aux femmes. Le feu Il servait dans la métallurgie pour la fonte des minerais et la forge de toutes sortes d'outils et des armes. Dans la vie pratique des nombreux avantages étaient signalés : La protection : Se réchauffer, éloigner les animaux sauvages. Les besoins alimentaires : Cuire les aliments, fumer, conserver la viande. La vie familiale : Veiller autour du feu et raconter les histoires.
